The Pijuayo (bactris gasipaes) is a palm tree native to the Peruvian Amazon that occurs in humid jungle areas. Being a cultivated palm, it is considered as a repopulation of degraded media and its cultivation as ecological, to protect the environment.

Preserves made from hearts of palm, extracted from Pijuayo (bactris gasipaes), water, salt and citric acid (E-330). Conditioned in suitable hermetically sealed containers and subjected to heat treatment that guarantee their preservation for a shelf life of up to 3 years from the date of manufacture stored in optimal conditions.
