The most outstanding coffee production areas in Peru are located in the north, central and southern areas. 43% of the production is found in Piura, Cajamarca, Amazonas and San Martin in the northern zone; 34% of the production is found in Junín, Pasco, Huánuco and Ucayali in the central zone and 23% of the production is found in Apurímac, Ayacucho, Cusco and Puno in the southern zone.
