Chardonnay was introduced to Tacama in the 90s directly from France.
Doña Ana has intense yellow color. Complex nose with aromas of peach, toast and vanilla. Wide mouth and excellent balance. Ideal with fish, white meat or soft cheeses.
Taste at 12ºC.
Appellation: Tacama Vineyard, Ica Valley
Soil: Sandy loam.
Color: Yellow with golden hues.
Aging: 12 months in French oak barrels and 6 months resting in bottle.
Aroma: Tropical fruit aromas combined with notes of butter, vanilla and honey.
Taste: Creamy with intense freshness.
Food pairing: Best served cold. A good companion for chicken with bechamel sauce, seafood lasagna and smoked fish.
Food pairing with Peruvian food: Best served cold. It harmonizes perfectly with seafood chowder, locro de camarones, picante de pallares, pepián de choclo, arroz con pato, conchitas a la parmesana, among others.
