Quinoa is a grain native to the Andes, with high nutritional value and multiple health benefits at all stages of life. It is rich in vitamins of group B (thiamine, riboflavin, niacin and folic acid), vitamin C and E. This grain is characterized by the quality of its proteins given by the content of essential amino acids (isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine , threonine, tryptophan and valine).
