The giant squid or also known as pota is a cephalopod mollusk that comes from the Peruvian sea and the Pacific Ocean.
In Peru, squid is one of the main fish export products. It is sold mainly in fillets, but also in tubes, strips, dice, wings, and tentacles, both fresh and cooked.
With the scientific name Dosidicus Gigas, squid is a low-calorie and low-fat food that contains many nutrients such as omega 3. In addition, it is characterized by its fast cooking.
