Hand washing your Alpaca Knitwear by using gentle natural soap, or hand wash liquid will refresh and condition the fibres.
- Soak in lukewarm water (30c) until fully absorbed. Add shampoo and wash gently.
- Squeeze out excess water gently, do not rub or wring. Rinse in clean lukewarm water.
- You can either place in your washing machine to run a short spin on a medium cycle, or roll through a towel to absorb final water.
- Dry as flat as possible, not in direct sunlight. Iron with a warm iron if needed.
Aftercare
We recommend you keep your garments clean and fresh when stored, to avoid moths becoming attracted to them. Using plastic storage bags, cedar blocks and any other anti-moth scent will help deter them.
