In all categories, the fruits must be whole, healthy, clean, free of wounds and bruises, free of visible foreign matter, signs of internal drying, and foreign odors and flavors.
For Category I, the fruits must be of good quality and present characteristics typical of the variety or commercial type to which they belong. Slight defects may be accepted, as long as they do not affect the general appearance of the product or its quality, conservation and presentation in the container.
• Color: it is uniform according to the variety.
• Aroma: characteristic citrus smell free of foreign odors.
• Taste: characteristic on the balance of °Brix / % acidity and maturity index.
• Appearance: compact texture of clean and fresh seed
• The sizes or calibers: they range from 3,2,1,X,2X,3X,4X and up to 5X.
