About the alpaca and its fine fiber
This specie of camelid is originally from South America and its weight varies between 60 and 70 kilograms. Many markets highly demand its fiber because it is one of the finest in the world, surpassing the quality of cashmere and sheep's wool.
This fiber is used to make garments such as pullovers, sweaters, skirts, coats, and accessories such as handbags, wallets and belts, and even tapestries and carpets.
