A young maiden named Huacachina who fell in love with a young warrior, but after getting married the warrior had to go to a war in which he died, after hearing the news the young Huacachina was impregnated with sadness and went to mourn the field of sunflowers where they had met for the first time. The young Huacachina cried day after day, until the tears of her crying formed a small lagoon. One day when it was getting dark a young warrior passed through the lagoon and saw the young Huacachina, realizing that they watched her began to run, when the young warrior was already going to reach her she launched herself into the lagoon. He waited for hours until the young warrior left, when he came out he realized that he no longer had legs, he was a beautiful mermaid, thus giving the name to the lagoon. The legend says that every night of the new moon, the young woman leaves the lagoon to cry for her beloved. In tribute to the dunes and deserts, our design called simply Booty Huacachina desert was born.
