Camu Camu spray-dried is a fine powder obtained by processing the Camu Camu fruit. Once the pulp is processed, it is dehydrated by atomization. Camu Camu (Myrciaria dubia) is a plant native to the Peruvian Amazon, which grows wild in flooded alluvial soils during the rainy season.
The main characteristic of the fruit is its high content of vitamin C (antioxidant).
Camu Camu, compared to other tropical fruit such as orange, provides 3000 to 6000 mg of vitamin C for every 100 g of pulp, that is, between 57 and 114 times more concentration than orange. The Camu Camu provides an ideal support for the formation of collagen due to its high levels of vitamin C (antioxidants), which promotes the development of ligaments and tendons. Also, antioxidants cleanse the body of free radicals, preventing muscle aging.
