Original and colorful Inca Rugs, Blankets, Frazadas, handmade by Peruvian artisans in Cusco, with 100% sheep wool and using natural dyes. Our Rugs/Blanekts/Frazadas are sourced from villages around Cuzco - Peruvian Andean Mountains approx 3400 metres up.
Each piece is unique in texture, design and color, there are no two pieces equal. They are ideal to use on the floor as a rug or drape over a sofa, table, bed, wall hangings, picnic blankets. Will make a big impact in your space, will work well with different styles.
Due to the size of the looms the rugs are worked separately in two parts and then join together in the middle. It takes a long time to finish every piece.
Since they are handwoven, they could have some slight imperfections, that makes them unique.
The tradition of weaving has been passed through many generations of Andean cultures, using the same techniques.
