The Hass avocado CAT A1 (main export variety), has a piriform oval shape, medium size (200 to 300 gr). With thick, rough skin and small seeds, it is easily peeled and presents a green to dark purple color when the fruit is ripe, with high resistance to transport and long post-harvest life. Its fruit has demonstrated to possess very valuable nutritional properties, standing out its high concentration of proteins and unsaturated oils and the absence of cholesterol.
