Kiwicha or Amaranth is a native cereal of Peru, it grows between 1,000 to 3,200 meters above sea level. It is characterized by having all the essential amino acids that our body requires, mainly lysine. The nutritional value of the grain is high and contains more than 13% protein. It does not contain saponins or alkaloids. It is a natural product, obtained after a thorough cleaning, for presentation as grain or cereal.
