Our Cocoa Husk comes from organic cocoa beans of Chuncho Cusco origin, from the Valles de Echarate, QuelloUno and Santa Ana in Quillambamba, province of La Convención. Where our farms have undetectable levels of cadmium. We make our own chocolates from organic cocoa beans at our plant in Lima, Peru. We select these beans, roast them with a small amount of cocoa butter in order to achieve the best aroma typical of fine cocoa beans. After roasting, we husk and separate the husks from the beans. In the zone of husk we keep the cocoa beans that could not be husked, thereby ensuring that the properties and aromas of cocoa are preserved even more, thus raising the level of our senses when drinking a hot cup of filter cocoa husk. The Cocoa Husk can be used as a tea for hot drinks alone or mix with other fine herbs; and also as flour to make cookies or pastries, obtaining gluten-free products and preserving the properties of cocoa.
