Sacha inchi, meaning "Inca nut" in the Quechua language, is the seed of a plant that is native to the Amazon rainforest of Peru.
Sacha Inchi has been cultivated on acidic soil, close to water bodies by indigenous people for thousands of years. The star-shaped fruit of plant turns dark brown when ripe. The seeds/nuts contain 17 times the omega-3 oil content of salmon, as well as all eight essential amino acids. After drying and sorting the nuts, We use a cold-press method to press the sacha inchi seeds into a cake. The cold-pressing process of the sacha inchi seeds ensures that all nutrients remain preserved. The oils are filtered off to produce sacha inchi oil. The pressed cake is pulverized into a fine powder. We offer the following Sacha Inchi products:
- Sacha Inchi powder
- Sacha Inchi nuts
- Sacha Inchi oil
