High in the Andes of South America, the value of Quinoa in the face of famines was similar to that of Gold, it is for that reason that it was considered by the Incas as Muru Quri, which means Golden Grain in Quechua, and it is from where our vodka gets its name, Quri. Our Mother Earth gave us Quinoa and it was so important to the survival of the Incas that they used the Quipus to closely monitor its production and supply. It is this millenary and rich culture that makes our mission and obligation to use the gifts of Pachamama to create a product of the highest quality in a socially and environmentally responsible way and thus create one of the finest and most delicate Vodkas in the world. Quri Vodka is made with white Quinoa from the Peruvian Andes, this ancestral grain is cultivated by a family of farmers in the town of Yunguyo, department of Puno at more than 3600 meters above sea level on the shores of Lake Titicaca.
