It belongs to the Oryza sativa species. It is a creamy white grain. The rice grain is obtained from paddy rice by following the process of grinding, selection and drying.
It is produced in San Martín, Tarapoto, Tumbes and Chiclayo.
Its size is medium between 5 - 7 mm, its percentage of broken can be 10%, 15% or 20%.
