Description
The rotenone extract is obtained from the roots of the peruvian cube or barbasco using aprotic solvents. It is a natural organic derivative, whose active ingredient is rotenone, a biologically active compound with insecticidal-acaricidal power that acts by contact and ingestion. The rotenone is accompanied by rotenoids such as degueline, tephrosin and toxicarol, that as a whole are identified as associated resins.
