The Graviola or Soursop grows in almost all tropical America. Its bark is rough, the leaves are an intense green color and its flowers have a yellowish beige tone. Its fruit is an excellent source of vitamin C and also rich in vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6. It provides minerals such as magnesium, potassium and iron. On the other hand, it contains powerful anti-cancer or cytostatic active ingredients. Graviola leaves contain acetogenins. Comparative in vitro and in vivo studies were done comparing the effect with adriamycin (known chemotherapy) and it was proven that it is 10,000 times more powerful and that it kills cancer cells without damaging healthy cells as it happens with chemotherapy which causes nausea, weight loss and hair loss. Graviola leaves protect and boost the immune system. It is the best alternative when surgery, cobalt therapy or radium cannot be used or when chemotherapy has to be stopped because of its action and atrogenic (side effects) on the liver and kidneys. In addition, Graviola can help relieve colic, attenuate diarrhea and aid in heavy digestions. It also has antipyretic properties, allows to regulate high blood pressure. Its sleeping properties help combat insomnia because it has relaxing properties. It is used for kidney ailments, antiparasitic and antibacterial.
