Hardware devices, software tools and computer networks, among which the internet stands out, currently handle a lot of information and allow increasingly efficient communication between people. We live in an age in which these information and communication technologies (TIC) are present in almost all our activities and help us to have a better quality of life both at home and at work. The educational field is no stranger to this great technological advance. There are new teaching resources and tools that facilitate the teaching and learning process that takes place inside and outside of college and university classrooms. We are in the era of web 2.0 that guides resources to collaborative work and imposes on us a new philosophyǿ that of free knowledge and social participation.
