RAINFOREST ALLIANCE
USDA ORGANIC
The Civil Organization of Non-Profit Agricultural Producers, founded on December 16, 1978, brings together 309 associated producers, of which 45 are women (14.53%) and 264 are men (85.47%). The organization has 13 collaborators, consisting of 4 women and nine men. Our central objective is the collection of parchment coffee, its transformation into exportable green coffee, and its commercialization both locally and internationally. The associates are organized into twenty (20) Sectorial Base Committees, distributed in ten districts of Bagua, Utcubamba, Bongará, and Luya in the Department of Amazonas.
Our exports of exportable green coffee are primarily destined for the American (USA) and European markets. In addition, our organization is a Fair Trade – Fairtrade member and takes pride in promoting organic farming practices. The coffee varieties we cultivate belong to the Arabica group and are grown at altitudes ranging from 1,100 meters above sea level to 2,200 meters above sea level. Allows us to offer a wide range of cup profiles tailored to different lengths of cultivation. In our production process, we manage our plantations and post-harvest processing using technologies that preserve and protect the environment. Over five years, we have maintained an average annual export of 6,000.00 quintals of 46 kg of green coffee.
