Fish skins of different species are a waste from artisanal fishing and aquaculture which we buy at a fair price, giving artisanal fishermen an additional income for something that they previously discarded. We do not prey. We tanner these skins in an artisan way with our own formulas without chemicals in the process, using only 30 to 40% water compared to a traditional tannery. They are then dyed with natural dyes such as purple corn, achiote, coffee residues, seeds, etc. Having already the leather, we work it with inmates of the women's prison, whom we train and carry out work with this material, we also give them a fair payment for their work, with elderly ladies joining the fish leather with alpaca in product fabrics For export, we carry out hand-made works by ourselves and we have collaborators with whom we produce handbags, footwear, wallets, jewelry, belts, garment applications, drawings made on fish leather by young people, masks with fish leather and everything. what leather is applied to Fish leather is a sustainable material and up to 9 times more resistant than cow leather, each leather has a different texture and finish. We sell the material to different designers to make their products.
