BIXIN
Product description: Bixin is a natural dye extracted from annatto seeds (Bixa orellana), commonly used in the food industry (including dairy, baking, snacks, processed meats, and more), as well as in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic sectors. Bixin is oil-soluble.
Color Range:
- From deep orange to light yellow, depending on the concentration used.
Characteristics:
- Available bixin concentrations: 30%, 80%, and 90% (powder form).
- Bixin concentrations below 20% are available in suspensions with vegetable oils (soybean or sunflower oil, depending on customer requirements)
Shelf life: 12 months.
Regulations: Fully compliant with FDA and EU standards for the specified dye type.
